PASTORAL TEAM
 Pastor Scott Suskovic-Senior Pastor ext. 109 Scott has served as the senior pastor of Christ Lutheran Church since 1998. His primary role is preaching, teaching, visioning, and overseeing the staff. Since coming to Charlotte, Scott has overseen significant expansion and growth at the church including receiving more than 2000 people into membership, the purchase of an additional three parking lots, and the building of the Ministry Center. Construction of a new sanctuary and youth space will begin in 2010. Scott grew up in Minnesota where he earned his Master's degree at Luther Seminary. He completed his Doctorate at Boston University. Outside of Christ Lutheran, Scott has served as Chair for the Senior Pastors' Conference of the ELCA and currently is on the board for The Smiles Foundation doing work in Romania, Augsburg/Fortress Publishing House and as a task force member for Human Sexuality for the ELCA. He is married to Gretchen and they have two children, Hannah and Nathan. He enjoys golf, sailing, travel and sitting out by the bonfire with good friends late into the night.
 Pastor Chris Hermansen, Associate Pastor ext. 132 Pastor Chris has been with us since August of 2008 coming from Tucson, AZ. His primary focus is to work with the “Welcome” part of the church. That involves connecting with visitors and new members. If you are one of these please seek Chris out. Chris also helps with various pastoral duties; preaching, teaching and visitation. “From my first visit to CLC I felt instantly welcomed and I hope I can continue to promote that from our church. That no matter who you are or where you come from you are welcome in God’s house and that is how we hope you feel here.” Chris grew up in Oregon and Washington. His parents still live in Washington where Chris’ dad also serves as a Lutheran Pastor. Chris grew up surrounded by sports and music and still tries to participate in those as much as he can. Chris and his wife Gina have three children, Kellyn, Kendra and Haydn and enjoy spending as much time together as they can.
