About Us

Christ Lutheran Children’s Center is a GS10 Licensed Center. We began as a Mother’s Morning Out program in 1987 and added full-day classes in 1989. We provide care for children 6 weeks of age through 5-year-old Transitional Kindergarten.

We’re proud of our beliefs in early education that have been built during the last 24 years. Our ultimate goal at Christ Lutheran Children’s Center is to partner with parents in the early years of childhood education and encourage life-long learning.

We attribute much of our success to a dedicated and educated staff. We have 48 staff members whose service with us ranges from 2 years to an incredible 24 years! Our administrative team has been together for 17 of the 24 years. We have a Curriculum Team of administrators and teachers who have worked together to create a truly outstanding educational experience for children, based on their age and readiness (We invite you to learn more about our curriculum and other wonderful extracurricular actives, such as Chapel, Music, Spanish, and Story Telling).

We organize a number of events for children and parents each year, including our Christmas Pageant, Spring Carnival, and Graduation.

And because we are a private center, our parents, teachers, and administrators have a real voice in the shaping of our programs and our activities. We all work together as a team, which is why we have one of the finest reputations for childcare in Charlotte.
