VOCAL ENSEMBLES

Adult Choir

High School Age through adult are welcome to join us weekly as we prepare the best of choral literature for use in traditional worship at 8:45.

Spirit Hall
Instrumental and vocal group providing leadership for both Contemporary worship services. Participation by audition only.
 

Joyful Noise Boys

The Studio 
Barbershop style men's a cappela group. Audition required.

A choral experience with music that spans a wide genre of styles. All voice parts are welcome. We participate in both traditional and contemporary worship services several times throughout the year.

Men's Chorus
Wednesday 6:00-6:35pm
Music Room M248 
Men's choral experience. Sing at worship occasionally.   If you like to sing, and would welcome the camaraderie of other men in a Christian setting, please join us. We’ll sing at worship services 4-5 times throughout the year. The ability to read music is a plus, but not required. All skill levels are welcome. Please join us—and bring a friend!

 

INSTRUMENTAL GROUPS

Orchestra
Thursday 5:00-6:30pm

All instruments welcome (brass, winds, and strings).  Anyone from eighth grade and up is welcome - younger members need to have experience with playing in an ensemble and with challenging music. We play often for church, both accompanying anthems and worship, as well as performing solo orchestral works.  

Recorder Consort
Friday 5:00-6:00pm
Spirit Hall 
Recorder choir presents Renaissance and Baroque styles of music. Worship music typically of Renaissance and Baroque styles prepared by recorder musicians, including sopranino, soprano, alto, tenor and bass recorders.  

 

Handbells

Luther Ringers
Wednesday  6:00-7:30pm
Handbell Room
Adult advanced bell choir. This adult choir prepares five-octave music for worship that is of advanced difficulty. We also have lots of fun so join us!

 

DRAMA & DANCE

Acting Up

"Acting Up" meets to write and rehearse skits used in Worship and other settings. 


Leap of Faith
Wednesday 7:30-9:00pm
Room C300 (Dance Studio)
Liturgical dance troupe seeks to glorify God by interpreting our worship music with movement and dance in contemporary worship services. Different parts of the liturgy and anthems will be prepared and shared in worship. Teens will finish by 8:30 PM
