Sunday Worship
Our Contemporary Worship takes place in Spirit Hall on the ground floor behind the Sanctuary. Enter from the south doors or the rear entrance under the portico. This service provides liturgical elements of the traditional Lutheran worship in a contemporary setting with musical leadership by the band SpiritSong. Video screens provide visual reinforcement of the day's message.
Our Traditional Worship takes place in the sanctuary and follows the traditional liturgical style of the Lutheran church. Musical leadership is provided by the adult choir and other musical ensembles accompanied by our beautiful pipe organ. The Sanctuary entrance faces Providence Road.
Childcare is provided. (Birth through age 3) C-103 and C-105 Children three years old and under are welcome to join us the entire morning. Consistent caregivers teamed with adult and youth volunteers provide loving care. In a continuing effort to provide a safe environment for children, we will implement a new sign in procedure this fall. Childcare is provided for newborns through age 3 in rooms C-103 and C-105?
Whichever experience you choose, you'll find the message to be spiritual and relevant to your daily life. We provide continental breakfast in the Fellowship Hall to ease the rush of the morning beginning at 8:00 a.m. every week.
Sermon Ministry
If you miss a worship service or just need to hear the day's message another time, we record all our services. They are available on cassette tape or CD. The cost for either format is $3 and they are available at The Beaonbookstore@christelca.org.
You may also listen online to the sermon or either of our Traditional or Contemporary services. Click Listen to Worship. We also record and/or videotape special events held at church. The cost for these recordings varies. Check at The Beacon for availability. |
