Our Purpose at Christ Lutheran Church is to Making Christ Known by helping children, youth and their families to grow in their WONDER of God, DISCOVERY of how to be more like Jesus & a PASSION to help others.
We believe that we can REACH this through our Guiding Principles.
Guiding Principles are core understandings that guide us in making decisions.
Our Guiding Principles are:
Relationships Impact: CLC is where we want students to have their closest friends.
Everyone Has Something to Offer: Everyone has been gifted by God and is called into ministry where we can serve the world better together.
Adults Model: For us to have spiritual children and youth, we must have spiritual adults and parents. The primary role model for a child’s faith is their own parents, so parents must be active with their child in growing in faith as a family.
Creativity Inspires: Although the message of Christ does not change, the world around us does. Therefore, the Holy Spirit moves us into new ways of telling others of the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Having Experiences Matter: We learn best through the experiences in our lives. Therefore, we strive to connect basic truths that we wish to teach with some kind of learning experience.
