MORE INFO/REGISTERThe new Fresh Change program offers an opportunity to welcome immigrants with a bag of new clothing. We will pack as many bags as possible with a change of clothing in each and send them to our neighbors at the border. Volunteers are encouraged to donate and bring items. MORE INFO/REGISTERInvite your neighborhood, office or even your book club to participate. This can be done at a time and way that is most convenient for you! Neighbors can drop off clothing on your porch, or maybe have the office bring in their donations on a certain day. Your clothing drive collections can be taken directly to Crisis Assistance on Spratt Street or dropped off at the Outreach Office. Crisis Assistance asks each volunteer doing a drive to register on their website. Once registered, you’ll receive an email with ideas, suggestions and logo permissions for a flyer.
MORE INFO/REGISTERPurchase a backpack and fill it with 2 composition books, 1 pack of markers, 1 pack colored pencils, sticky notes, and a pencil pouch filled with mechanical pencils, highlighters, ear buds and glue sticks. McPIE will donate these backpacks to McClintock Middle School students.
MORE INFO/REGISTERItems needed include peanut butter, canned spaghetti/ravioli, canned meat, low-sodium soups or stews, canned or dry beans, canned fruits in juice, canned low-sodium vegetables.
MORE INFO/REGISTERPut together a box of supplies for a McClintock teacher with things like band aids, tissue, gum/mints, stress ball or mind game, hand sanitizer, hand cream, disinfectant wipes, Sharpies, Post-It notes, paper clips and a handwritten note of support.
