The Family Ministry team at Christ Lutheran Church provides opportunities to grow in faith through Sunday School classes, our Stepping Stones program, age-specific & family-friendly events, Wednesdays Together, serving our community and much more. As parents, there is nothing more important that we can give our children than the gift of faith. We look forward to walking together with you and your family!
PRESCHOOL & ELEMENTARY MINISTRIES

Our Preschool Ministry covers birth through age four (or TK), while the Elementary School Ministry covers Kindergarten through 5th grade.
The Nursery is available on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings for infants through 36 months (under age 3).
Sundays
During the school year, Sunday classes are available for 3-year-olds through 5th graders.
Christ-centered books & activities are available outside of the Sanctuary doors to help children stay connected while in worship.
Prior to the start of the sermon, 3-year-olds through 2nd graders are invited to attend our children's message, Christ Kids, where they'll enjoy a hands-on activity and watch the latest episode of Christ Kids TV.
Wednesdays Ablaze
On Wednesday evenings during the school year, Preschoolers enjoy a social time with each other, learning simple music techniques and how to be respectful in a learning environment, and engaging in assorted activities from week to week, including age-appropriate introductions to musical instruments and playground time outdoors.
Elementary Schoolers start the evening in the Music Room (M248), then split into two groups to enjoy time with our music and movement instructors in half-hour intervals. At 7pm, children will go to the gym (Spirit Hall) for open play if their parents are still in an adult class.
Periodically, this group will have the opportunity to sing a song they've learn during Sunday worship services. For the current schedule, see 'Helpful Links' below.
Summer
Every summer, we host a Vacation Bible School for ages 4- 4th grade.
In late summer, we offer Spotlight Drama Camp for rising 3rd–5th graders; they audition for parts, practice Monday through Friday, and perform onstage on Friday evening for guests and family members!
YOUTH MINISTRY

The youth ministry at Christ Lutheran comprises both middle school (grades 6-8) and high school students. While both age groups are part of our Youth Ministry, events are typically separated by age group.
Our middle school youth are heavily involved in all things Confirmation.
Through Sunday classes during the school year, retreats and various Stepping Stones events, your middle schooler will learn exactly what Confirmation means, including how to be an official voting member of CLC. The official Confirmation ceremony typically happens near the beginning of their 9th grade year.
On Wednesday evenings, middle school students can get involved with music, devotions, and active gym time.

THE XPERIENCE

On Wednesday evenings during the school year, high school youth can participate in one of our most popular youth programs called The Xperience. A worship-arts-production group designed to appreciate everyone's gifts, The Xperience is full of opportunities for your teenager to express their musical abilities in a group of like-minded youth, and to learn the ins and outs of worship technology – including lighting, audio mixing, and graphic design!
From the start of the school year through the start of December, The Xperience will put together and practice for a Christmas show, and present it on one of the first weekends in December.
During the summer, the high schoolers plan all aspects of a stage show from start to finish, culminating in a national, week-long tour with a unique theme.
