We are so excited for Kick Off Sunday this weekend, September 13. It is time to crank up this multi-faceted ministry of Christ Lutheran and welcome our church family back home.

Here are some of the highlights for Sunday, September 13:

Traditional worship 8:45

No Bridge Service until September 20

Contemporary worship 11:00

All adult classes will resume on Sunday, September 13   

Sunday School will offer an Open House where you can meet your classmates and teachers. Parents and children are encouraged to check out their classes.

Ministry Fair in the Lower Commons to discover new ways in which you can engage in the life, ministry and outreach of Christ Lutheran. Find a new small group. Sign up for a service ministry. Discover an education opportunity.

County Fair! Join us for a free lunch and games centered around an old fashioned county fair theme. Food will be served in Spirit Hall and Fellowship Hall for you to reconnect with friends after the summer break.

And then, after a big Kick Off on Sunday, Wednesdays Ablaze resumes on Wednesday, September 16. If you’ve never attended, check out this evening of food, programs, music and classes for the entire family. Find all of the exciting Wednesdays Ablaze offerings HERE. 

Dinner from 5:00-6:00 for a very reasonable cost

Classes, rehearsals and youth group from 6:00-7:30

I want to encourage the adults to consider joining me for a Bible Study on the Book of Daniel. Bring your Bibles and join us in the Adult Forum from 6:00-7:30 for a line by line, chapter by chapter, in-depth study of this amazing book and how God continues to speak to us thousands of years later.

Summer comes at just the right time. It is a time to catch your breath, take some trips, and slow down. Likewise, Fall comes at just the right time with our deep need to reconnect, regroup, and return to the church family. 

This year, let’s go deep in our faith and relationships together.
